The October to December (OND) "Deyr" 2026 seasonal outlook indicates a high probability (>90%) of above-normal rainfall, with parts of central and southern Somalia likely to receive more than 400 mm of rainfall (ICPAC, 2026). While this signals an elevated flood risk, localised and month-to-month rainfall variations are expected. An early to near-normal onset across much of Somalia, consis
