Attacks on Health Care in Myanmar: 01-15 September 2026

Data collected by Insecurity Insight shows that since the military coup on 01 February 2021 and 31 August 2026, at least 1,969 incidents of violence against or obstruction of access to health care took place across Myanmar: 174 health workers were killed, 939 arrested and 51 kidnapped health facilities were damaged on at least 519 occasions 65% of incidents were attributed to the Myanmar Armed Forces (MAF) 85 incident
