Attacks on Health Care in Sudan, 01-15 October 2026

Data by Insecurity Insight shows that since fighting started between the SAF and RSF in April 2023 and 30 September 2026, at least 802 attacks on health care took place across Sudan, with over 55% of attacks attributed to the RSF. Health facilities were damaged at least 229 times while 222 health workers were killed and 16 kidnapped. At least 142 health workers were arrested or detained in 74 incidents across 14 states
