KEY HIGHLIGHTS • WFP provided life-saving food assistance to 163,748 acutely food-insecure people, primarily Sudanese refugees, through cash-based transfers and in-kind distributions. • Compared with previous monthly caseloads, September emergency food assistance coverage was significantly lower due to funding shortfalls, which required WFP to skip the monthly distribution cycle except in Adré and for new arrivals. • B
