Highlights During July–September 2026, humanitarian needs remained high amid displacement, returns, sporadic localized insecurity and military operations in southern governorates. More than 5 million people remained internally displaced. While returns continued, the pace slowed during 2026; between July and September, close to 160,000 IDPs and refugees returned, bringing cumulative returns sinc
