Lebanon: Flash Update #46 - Escalation of hostilities in Lebanon (as of 23 July 2026)

HIGHLIGHTS At least 4,329 deaths and 12,233 injuries recorded due to hostilities since 2 March, with 349 fatalities and 229 injuries since the latest ceasefire announcement, according to the Ministry of Public Health. Two attacks on health care workers were reported, with an explosive device injuring two paramedics on 21 July and an airstrike injuring two paramedics on 23 July (WHO,
