Attacks on Health Care in Myanmar: 08 - 21 July 2026

Using data collected by Insecurity Insight, the Safeguarding Health in Conflict Coalition (SHCC) identified 259 incidents of violence against or obstruction of health care in Myanmar in 2025, compared to 317 in 2024, 420 in 2023, 290 in 2022 and 490 in 2021. Health care facilities were damaged or destroyed at least 110 times, while 34 health workers were killed and 33 arrested. Most incidents affected health care prov
