World: Asia–Pacific Factsheet — Mixed Migration Routes to Europe (January - March 2026)

Between January and March 2026, a total of 6,187 irregular arrivals of migrants and refugees from Asia and the Pacific were recorded in Europe by land and sea – a 39 per cent decrease compared with the same period in 2025. This decline is consistent with previous years, as Q1 tends to record the lowest arrivals figures due to difficult winter crossing conditions. Despite this decline in move
