MSF South Sudan: When the River is the Only Road to Healthcare

Country: South Sudan Source: Médecins Sans Frontières 25th August 2026 - Limited healthcare facilities and growing violence throughout the states of Upper Nile and Jonglei have pushed residents to travel further distances to seek quality healthcare. Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has responded by building its outreach to towns along the Sobat River Corridor, where many displaced South Sudanese have relocated. MSF currently has more 18 community outreach team members at
