Nepal: Rasuwa Flood Flash Update #5 (As of 1 September 2026)

HIGHLIGHTS The Rasuwa floods have claimed 1,003 lives, with 3,916 people still out of contact and 11,814 rescued (NDRRMA, 1 September, 13:00). Six days on, urgent needs include dignified management of the dead, family tracing, and psychosocial support. 3,458 displaced people are living in 27 displacement sites in Nuwakot and Rasuwa, mostly in schools
