Executive Summary As of July 2024, 191,710 refugees and asylum seekers have been registered with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency in Malaysia. Some 88 percent are from Myanmar, comprising 110,365 Rohingya and 58,423 individuals of other ethnic groups.
